The funding, explained for employers
Apprenticeship training is paid for through the apprenticeship levy and government co-investment. If your business pays the levy, this puts money you already contribute to work — at no extra cost. If you don’t pay the levy, the government funds 95% and you contribute just 5% (around £900 on an £18,000 programme). We confirm exactly what applies before anything goes ahead.
